The familiar, made wrong — and made endless.
Our debut game is a first-person, non-Euclidean liminal-horror descent for PC — an endless, self-consistent maze with no edges, no map, and no way out.
01 What we're building
A world that remembers its own impossible shape.
Contrite Heart Studios is a small independent studio building atmospheric, systems-driven worlds for PC. Our first game is a non-Euclidean liminal-horror experience: an endless, self-consistent maze unfolds around you, joined by seamless portals you can step through without ever seeing the seam.
The corridors run on as far as you are willing to walk, and no two turns bring you closer to a way out. The wrong-familiar, the hum of the lights, and the certainty that this place does not end do the rest.

02 What to expect
No map. No cut. No rescue coming.
- 01
Endless by design
The halls have no edge and no exit — the maze simply keeps going, and going.
- 02
Seamless portals
Step between rooms without a cut, a load, or a visible seam.
- 03
Dread by deviation
No jump-scare treadmill — unease grows from what is subtly, persistently wrong.
- 04
1994, on tape
The whole descent passes through the soft damage of a home camcorder.
03 Stay on the tape
Follow the signal.
The first rooms are taking shape. Follow the studio for field notes, fragments, and the occasional recovered frame.
